‘Welcome to Bangalore’ is a collection of pictures of road signs and symbols from my time in Bangalore. The design language catered to nostalgia, but through a contemporary lens. This website is an additional pillar of what Bangalore is most known for —it’s humour (possibly unintentional) through it’s signboards, symbols and auto rickshaws.
Softwares used: Adobe Illustrator, HTML, CSS and Javacript. It is coded for 13” screens and smaller. You can view the website here.
The accent colours are Pigment Green (#009D4B) and a School Bus Yellow (#FFDA17) to represent a standard auto rickshaw in Bangalore city.
